KCI may collect information about you, for example: your name; contact details; qualifications and skills; employment history and associated responsibilities; professional memberships; hobbies and interests; references from third parties; and other “resume style” information from other recruitment agencies. During the course of the assignment we may also collect other personal information in the best interests of providing a suitable service.

KCI will use the personal information you provide in a responsible manner and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We will use your personal information as follows:
i) In the provision of KCI services as per your request;
ii) To respond and communicate with you directly in relation to recruitment opportunities;
iii) To enable your recruitment needs to be serviced in accordance with your reasonable expectations;
iv) To provide to third parties (such as other recruitment agencies and prospective employers), including third parties outside of Australia, information that will enable KCI to provide the services you have requested but only with your prior consent;
v) To provide to KCI personnel details that will expand KCI’s opportunities to assist you in line with your reasonable expectations.

In addition to the above uses, we may only use and disclose your personal information for the purpose for which you provided it to us or for a related purpose which would be within your reasonable expectations, unless:

i) We have your consent; or
ii) We are required or authorized by law; or
iii) We are assisting in law enforcement proceedings

Access to Your Information
You have a right to request access to any personal information KCI holds about you. However, KCI may refuse access in limited circumstances in accordance with National Privacy principle 6. You may also advise us of any errors or matters that need updating relating to your personal information. All access requests must be in writing, and should be directed to our Sydney Office at Level 22, 1 York Street, Sydney and entitled “Privacy Policy”. KCI will endeavour to make arrangements for access within 5 working days of receipt of a request.

Security
KCI undertakes to take reasonable steps to store your personal information securely and have systems that support this initiative.

While KCI takes reasonable steps to ensure third parties to who it discloses your personal information will protect the security of that information, KCI is unable to provide any warranty that your personal information will be dealt with by third parties in accordance with the KCI Privacy Policy.
